Reporting to the Principle Investigator, the incumbent will assist in designing, coordinating and conducting experiments for research in intergroup relations and school performance. Duties involve assistance with all steps of the research process, including assisting in recruitment of participants, assisting in designing and running studies, assisting with data analysis and data presentation and publication. The applicant will also help in developing grant applications and other administrative tasks including supervising and training undergrad research assistants and managing the finances of the project.

This is a 1 year position with possibility of extension.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field. At least 6 months experience in experimental research.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Experience managing experiments and data analysis. Project management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to strong organizational skills required. High time flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience conducting psychophysiology (i.e., cortisol) experiments or experiments involving epi-genetics with humans desirable. Conversant in literature on stereotype threat and/or stress reduction interventions desirable. Experience coordinating with Principle Investigators at multiple research sites desirable.

Preferred programming skills: Medialab, Qualtrics.
