The Psychology Department at Idaho State University invites applications for 2 tenure-track and 1 visiting position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning August 2012.

Clinical position: This position requires a PhD from an APA accredited clinical psychology program. Clinical and/or research expertise in health psychology, child/adolescence, substance abuse, and/or other areas complementary to existing faculty preferred.

Experimental position: Research expertise in health psychology, decision making, quantitative psychology, and/or other areas complementary to existing faculty is sought. Clinical and experimental candidates will establish an independent research program, mentor graduate students, and teach undergraduate (e.g., introduction to psychology, statistics) and graduate (e.g., core and methods courses, ethics, topical seminars) courses.

Visiting cognitive position: Renewable for up to 3 years. This candidate must be qualified to teach undergradute and graduate courses in cognitive psychology and mentor graduate students.

Idaho State University offers a BS and BA in psychology, a PhD in general experimental psychology, and an APA accredited PhD in clinical psychology (scientist-practitioner model). Please visit our website at:
