Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia Business School

The Decision Making and Negotiations Cross-Disciplinary Area at Columbia Business School is seeking to hire a qualified Postdoctoral Fellow for a period of two years. The Postdoctoral Fellow will collaborate in research projects of mutual interest with the faculty and will be mentored in, and then teach, the MBA course Managerial Negotiations. The position requires someone with a strong background in psychological and behavioral research methods who seeks exposure to the mix of basic and applied research and the teaching style in professional schools.

Applicants should have a PhD degree (or will have one in advance of fall 2011) in relevant social science fields, especially psychology or organizational behavior from an accredited institution, and a record of being an outstanding scholar in every respect, including research. Applicants should submit a cover letter describing their research interests and accomplishments, a C.V., and three letters of recommendation. Applicants should indicate one or two Columbia Business School faculty members with whom they would be most interested in working.

Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled (no later than May 31).
