Apply to be an APA Executive Branch Science Fellow!
Looking to infuse your research and teaching with more policy relevance? Seeking an opportunity to work at the intersections of psychological science and public policy? Come spend a year in Washington, DC through the American Psychological Association’s 2011-2012 Executive Branch Science Fellowship program, and get a fresh look at our science through the lens of a federal agency such as the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Education, or the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
APA’s Science Government Relations Office is now accepting applications for our annual fellowship program, run in conjunction with the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Fellows must have a doctorate in psychology or a related field, be American citizens and members of APA, and show a strong interest in applying psychological knowledge to national research and policy issues.
