The University of California, Merced: Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology. Closing date: 1/04/2010

The University of California, Merced seeks to fill a tenure-track position in developmental psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will have a doctorate in developmental psychology or in a closely related field, a strong record of publication, potential for external grant funding, interests in program-building, a commitment to excellence and experience in teaching. In addition, post-doctoral experience is highly desirable. We encourage applications from persons in all areas of developmental psychology.

Interested applicants are required to submit: (1) a cover letter, (2) curriculum vitae, (3) statement of research, (4) statement of teaching, (5) up to three reprints/preprints of representative publications, and (6) a list of four references with mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address. In addition applicants must arrange to have these four letters of reference submitted independently to the following email address: ssha.ref.psyc@ucmerced.edu. Letters need to reference the candidate’s name and Job Code: ASHA2414A on the letter.
