 Prosocial Personality/Views of Human Nature

Dear Colleagues,

I write to request assistance with two things:

(1) I have been unable to obtain via my local library or via interlibrary loan the book containing Penner, Fritzsche, Craiger, & Freifeld's (1995) Prosocial Personality Battery. If anyone has the scale and could send it along to me, I would be extraordinarily happy!

(2) Does anyone know of scales that have been constructed to measure views of human nature (e.g., "I think human beings are basically selfish."; "Sympathy is a fundamental part of human nature."). I know Wrightsman's work and have his "Philosophies of Human Nature" scale. Are there any others?

Many thanks for any assistance you can provide.

All the best,
Mike Gill
