Annual salary scale: £34,793-£44,074

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment to a Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) in Social Psychology from 1st September 2009, or as soon as possible thereafter. The Department wishes to appoint a research-active social psychologist with expertise in any area of social psychology who can teach central aspects of social psychology, research methods/data analysis, and her/his areas of expertise at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Familiarity with cognitive psychology and/or psychobiology would also be advantageous.

Applicants should also arrange for three referees to send references directly to Ms Wolfe on their behalf by the same date, enclosing a completed data protection form. Candidates are asked to identify up to three pieces of work they would like the Appointments Committee to read, if possible sending electronic copies to Ms Norma Wolfe or providing web addresses. Short-listed candidates may be invited to come to Cambridge or to participate in a remote (audio or video) interview with the Appointments Committee on 2 February 2009.
