The Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto Scarborough invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment in the field of social psychology. The appointment will be at the rank of assistant professor and will begin on July 1, 2009.

We encourage applications from candidates with strong research records in any area of social psychology. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an externally funded research program and undertake graduate supervision and teaching. The successful candidate must have a PhD in Psychology, an established record of high quality scholarly research and publication, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to perform standard professional and administrative activities typical of a department and/or university. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University of Toronto Scarborough offers the opportunity to teach, conduct research and live in one of the most attractive and diverse cities in the world. The closing date for applications is November 14, 2008.
