The Psychology Department invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in personality psychology beginning in August 2009. Job requirements include completion of Ph.D. by August 2009, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and an active research program in personality psychology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach three courses per semester at the undergraduate level. Preference will be given to applicants who also have a willingness to teach Research Methods/Statistics, Introductory Psychology and a course in the area of personality. Other duties will include developing an active research program, supervising undergraduate research projects, academic service, and advising.

Submit letter of application, vita, three letters of reference, teaching evaluations, letters of teaching and research interest, and official academic transcripts to: Isabelle Cherney, Ph.D., Department of Psychology, Creighton University, Omaha, NE 68178. Review of completed applications will begin on December 15, 2008, and continue until the position is filled.
