Dear Colleagues,

Apologies for cross-postings.

Please find below an advertisement for a Lectureship post in the School of Psychology at the University of Birmingham. Please note that although the advertisement is directed officially toward Social Cognitive Neuroscience, Infant Cognition, or Developmental Neuroscience, this title is meant only to reflect our department's strength in Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience. We encourage applications from researchers in the area of Social Cognition, broadly defined.

We welcome you to visit our department webpage at http://www.psychology.bham.ac.uk, where you will find information on our Social Cognition and Neuroscience group. Officially, our core members are Julie Christian, Guenther Knoblich, Natalie Sebanz, and myself (Kimberly Quinn), but we have strong ongoing collaborations and joint PhD supervisions with faculty members in a number of related subdisciplines such as Theory of Mind (e.g., Ian Apperly), Psychology and Neuroscience of Pain (e.g., Stuart Derbyshire), Visual Cognition (e.g., Glyn Humphreys), Behavioural Neuroscience (e.g., Chris Miall), and Developmental Neuropsychology (e.g., Chris Oliver). This makes for an extremely lively and stimulating intellectual environment.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. The ad appears below.

Best,
Kim
