There is currently an opening for a VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY at the UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT URBANA-CHAMPAIGN PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT. This position includes some teaching responsibilities (next year: coordinating a team of social psychology instructors and teaching a senior seminar) as well as conducting research. The position will begin August 16, 2008, and is renewable for an additional year. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. at the time of appointment. The primary criteria for appointment will be excellence in research and teaching.

The department and the university are both outstanding. The position provides postdoctoral research experience in the context of Dr. Albarracin’s lab. The salary and benefits package are outstanding. As the current person on this position will start a permanent position in the Fall, replacement decisions will be made immediately.
