The first position is the inaugural Postdoctoral Diversity Research Fellowship. The second is the Management & Organizations Group Postdoctoral Fellowship. Both fellowships will begin during summer 2008. Candidates may apply for both positions.
(1) Diversity Research Postdoctoral Fellowship
Cornell University’s community of interdisciplinary diversity research scholars welcomes applications for the inaugural Diversity Research Postdoctoral Fellowship. The position will be reserved for a scholar whose research directly informs diversity and inclusion issues within and across organizations, and fellows will be hosted by Cornell’s Johnson School of Management. Eligible candidates include those who have completed a PhD in management or a social science discipline prior to the beginning of the fellowship. Strong preference will be given to fellows who have the potential of collaborating with Cornell faculty and doctoral students engaged in diversity-related research. Fellows will assist in coordinating a seminar series and annual conference on diversity research topics. Additionally, fellows will be able to further their own research program while at Cornell. There is no teaching requirement. Fellowships will begin during summer, 2008, and are renewable for an additional year.
(2) Management & Organizations Group Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Management & Organizations group at Cornell’s Johnson School has a post-doctoral fellowship available to applicants who will have completed a PhD in management or in a social science discipline prior to the beginning of the fellowship. Responsibilities will include teaching two sections of a course in the Management & Organizations arena and actively participating in the intellectual life of the group. Strong preference will be given to fellows who have the potential of collaborating with faculty and doctoral students within the Management & Organizations group. Additionally, fellows are welcome to further their own research program while at Cornell. Fellowships will begin during fall, 2008, and are renewable for an additional year.
We will begin reviewing applications for these positions immediately. Application submissions should include a vita, one example of written work, course syllabi and teaching evaluations (if applying for M&O Postdoc), and three letters of recommendation. Please send materials (electronic submissions are preferred) and direct inquiries to:
