The Department of Psychology at the Ohio State University seeks a Visiting Scholar for participation in our social psychology program. The position would be ideal for a faculty member who is planning a sabbatical leave for the Fall and/or Spring semesters of 2012-13, as it will cover one-third to one-half of the individual’s salary. Rank is open, but limited to individuals with a current faculty appointment. The Visiting Scholar would be expected to participate in program activities, consult with faculty and graduate students, and offer workshop(s) concerning their area of specialization. Individuals with strong research records whose interests and expertise complement existing strengths of the program would be especially attractive.
Inquiries regarding the position may be addressed to any of the program faculty: Robert Arkin, Jennifer Crocker, William Cunningham, Russell Fazio, Kentaro Fujita, Lisa Libby, Richard Petty, Baldwin Way, Gifford Weary, or Duane Wegener. Statements of interest, along with a CV, may be sent to Paula Cullen, Social Area Assistant, Department of Psychology, Ohio State University, 1835 Neil Avenue, Columbus, OH 43210-1222 or via email (cullen.32@osu.edu). Responses prior to February 15 will assure consideration. For more information about the department, visit: www.psy.ohio-state.edu.
The Ohio State University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
