Dear friends, colleagues, and psychology lovers around the world,

I'm deeply saddened to report that long-time Social Psychology Network Advisory Board member Philip G. Zimbardo died on October 14, 2024.

Dr. Zimbardo was Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Stanford University, a former President of the American Psychological Association, a legendary teacher, and a force of nature when it came to "giving psychology away."
