Hi All,
In an effort to make the world feel just a little better, I'd like to invite you to join our coalition of 92 Departments of Psychology from around the world on October 8th (this Wednesday) for PSYC Good Deed Day. The idea is to simply ask members of our psychology community (students, faculty, staff, friends, colleagues, alumni, you!) to do one nice thing for someone else.
We've created a website with resources on the science of kindness and a good deed tracker where you can log your good deed to display it on a heat map:

Just click the button above the map. The goal is to show how much kindness there is in the world (and make more of it in the process).
The website also includes lecture materials (created by Jennifer Cheavens' lab at Ohio State), short videos on the science of kindness from folks in psychology, and other research and teaching resources related to kindness.
