Postdoctoral Fellow
Center for Health/HIV Intervention and Prevention
Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology seeks to fill a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow position. The NIMH-funded position is for one year, subject to annual renewal, pending funding. The position involves carrying out research at the intersection of health and social psychology, particularly as applied to HIV prevention and factors underlying HIV risk behavior, and adherence to antiretrovirals, some work will likely be done in international settings. The position will also include other research projects depending on the interests of the candidate.
Start date: May 26, 2006 at the earliest; September 1, 2006 at the latest.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. conferred by start date in health or social psychology or a related field, a desire to work with a team of researchers, and a willingness to take the lead on designing and implementing interventions, and/or analyzing data and writing manuscripts for publication. They should also have a record of published research, and very strong statistical skills.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
