The Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania seeks to fill a two-year full-time position as a Postdoctoral Fellow for an NIMH funded project designed to test a multi-level community intervention to prevent STDs and HIV in African American teens. The project uses mass media messages in combination with community-based training in an experiment designed to tease apart the joint and combined effects of these interventions. Expected start date is on or after August 1, 2007.
The position involves data analysis for the multilevel design and writing of reports for publication. Candidates should have an interest in health communication and social influence processes and be willing to work with an extended team of researchers at several sites across the country. Ability to use multivariate statistics is a desirable characteristic.
Interested candidates should e-mail a current CV, statement of research interests, and names of references to Dan Romer, Annenberg Public Policy Center, at dromer@asc.upenn.edu. Inquiries regarding the position can be sent to the same address.
