Details of the position are attached. ----------------------------- Professor of Psychology Salary: Professorial Minimum starting at £47,685 (Great Britain Pounds) The Psychology Programme Director is due to retire and the School of Life Sciences wishes to appoint a new Professor to its Applied Psychology Programme at an early date. The programme was established four years ago and covers the core curriculum areas of the discipline, has BPS accreditation and uniquely embraces the applied professional areas of psychology. You will be keen to take these developments further. The present Psychology team includes nine permanent full-time teaching/research staff and six visiting professors who are eminent practitioners and who complement the teaching and research in psychology. You must have a strong record of research funding, supervision, publication and expertise in their particular area of Psychology. The new Professor will be able to offer leadership in research and teaching to the Psychology staff in the School, and assist in building links with other programmes and across the University, as well as liaising with the professional community.
