The ideal candidate should be a relatively recent Ph.D. with several publications in refereed journals. He/she should have strong research interests and be willing to work closely with M.A. and Ph.D. students. Although our preference is for applicants willing to start in September, 2007, we will also consider those with appropriate records who cannot begin before September, 2008. A full-time position entails teaching three or four courses (each course lasts 1.5 hours per week) per semester, advising graduate students, and usually serving on a couple of department or university committees. To apply, send curriculum vitae with list of references to Professor Meni Koslowsky at koslow@mail.biu.ac.il Bar-Ilan University, a research oriented academic institution located in Ramat Gan, Israel, has over 18,000 students. The psychology department has over fifty full-time and part-time teaching faculty and more than 850 students, about half of whom are studying for advanced degrees. The department is housed in a new, modern building with sophisticated audio/visual equipment, laboratories, clinical and treatment facilities. Through the years, the department has developed a reputation for excellence in research and instruction. In particular, students have always listed the human relations aspect as one of the strengths of the department. We hope the successful candidate will follow in this tradition.
