Current members of the group conduct high-quality research with a strong international focus. Much of this is funded by grants from main funding bodies (in particular the ESRC), from Government and industry. The group boasts excellent research facilities and labs (some of which were recently refurbished). We are keen to appoint new members of staff who will complement existing strengths or who will introduce new ones to what is a vibrant and flourishing research group. This new full time post is available from January 2007 on a permanent basis. An appointment ranging from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer, can be made in any area(s) within Social, Economic and Organizational psychology. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in social psychology, and have a track record of conference presentations and publication. Applicants are expected to have a portfolio of independent research and teaching experience commensurate with the level of the application. The starting salary for a Lecturer will be from £28,010 pa on Grade F or for a Senior Lecturer from £34,448 pa on Grade G, depending on qualifications and experience.
