T99-48 SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY

The Department of Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in social psychology for the 2000-2001 academic year. The visitor would be expected to teach four courses in addition to working independently with students interested in doing research in some area of social psychology. Although the preferred area of research specialty is open, our graduate program focuses on inter-related topics in social justice.

RANK: Visiting Assistant Professor

SALARY: $44,300 - $49,400, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Ph.D. (or equivalent) in psychology or related discipline, evidence of university-level teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates will be evaluated on their teaching, research and service record.
