The successful applicant will work directly with Dr. Kimberly Quinn on a project investigating moderators of social categorization and person construal. The primary activities will be to conduct experiments using reaction-time paradigms and functional MRI, to analyse data, and to write presentations and journal articles. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in experimental psychology; a Ph.D. in social psychology, cognitive psychology or cognitive neuroscience, and experience with or interest in fMRI, are desirable. Maximum starting salary £24,161 a year, in the range of £24,161 to £31,525 a year (potential progression on performance once in post to £33,465 a year). This position is available for a period of 34 months.
