The successful applicant will teach undergraduate courses relevant to the Psychology of Love. Proposed courses might include but need not be limited to: Love and Emotions; Psychology of Attraction; “Big Love”: Transcending the Norm (nontraditional relationships); Cross-Cultural Psychology of Love; Social Psychology of Friendship; Love over the Lifespan, and Human Sexuality. The applicant may propose additional courses of his/her choice in any area of the Psychology of Love. A Ph.D. is required, as is a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
