Description:

The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University is seeking applications for a one-year, renewable, postdoctoral position at the Ford Motor Co. Center for Global Citizenship. The post-doc position is part of a cross-disciplinary research program on crisis and reputation management in collaboration with the Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems (NICO). The postdoc will collaborate with Center researchers on understanding the perceptions of corporate actions by consumers and stakeholders, and help to evaluate possible management strategies.

Requirements:

Applicants should have a doctorate completed or near completion and demonstrate an established track record in innovative research in the area of social psychology or a related discipline. Expertise in risk-perception and/or the psychology of values, fairness, and ethical judgements is desirable, as in knowledge or expertise in neuroscience research related to these areas. All applicants should have a track record of publications in academic journals, strong experimental skills, significant statistical expertise as well as strong English writing skills. The willingness to work in the multi-disciplinary environment of a research-oriented business school is essential.

The postdoctoral fellow will work with Professor Daniel Diermeier and other Ford Center faculty.
