We are currently advertising a junior to mid-career position in Social Psychology at the University of New Souh Wales, Sydney, Australia (Ref No. 4331). Salary is in the AUD 65K - 90K range. UNSW is one of Australia's leading research universities, located in Sydney's attractive Eastern Suburbs, in close proximity to the City and numerous harbour and Pacific ocean beaches. Sydney is a major international metropolis of great natural beauty with a wonderful subtropical climate, offering all the cultural, entertainment and commercial facilities of a major cosmopolitan city. The School of Psychology at UNSW is one of Australia's leading departments with a thriving research culture, excellent research facilities, and a comprehensive program of teaching at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral level. Staff members with an interest in topics related to social psychology include, in alphabetical order, Joe Forgas (affect, social cognition, interpersonal behaviour), Richard Kemp (forensic social psychology, eyewitness memory), Ben Newell (judgments and decision making), Chris Mitchell (implicit social cognition), Meg Rohan (values, individual differences), Bill von Hippel (evolutionary social psychology, aging, and executive functioning), and Courtney von Hippel (organisational behaviour).

We are keen to appoint a new colleague who will make a significant contribution to research and teaching of social psychology within the School.
