| Faculty Position in Social Psychology | | | | | | | Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader in Social Psychology/Social Cognition/Social Neuroscience The UCL Psychology Department invites applications for a Lectureship/Senior Lectureship/Readership from candidates with strong research records in any area of social psychology including social cognition and social neuroscience. The successful applicant will show exceptional promise as an independent researcher and the ability to deliver inspiring teaching. The department offers a thriving 5* research and teaching environment with over 50 members of academic staff. Research is conducted in all major areas of psychology with cognitive and experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience being particularly strong. Staff members contribute to several interdisciplinary UCL research centres such as the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, the Centre for Mathematics and Physics in the Life Sciences and Experimental Biology, the Wellcome Department of Imaging Neuroscience, the UCL Interaction Centre, and the ESRC Centre for Economic Learning and Social Evolution. As well as our undergraduate programme, we run several postgraduate training courses. The salary will in the range £28,010-£44,947 plus £2,400 London Allowance, according to age and experience.
