RESEARCH ASSISTANT: HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY

The Health, Emotion, and Behavior (HEB) Laboratory at Yale University, Department of Psychology has a Research Assistant position available June, 2006 for one year. Continuation may be possible pending grant funding. Our current research focuses on health cognition, communication, and behavior, as well as emotions and emotional skills. The Research Assistant will implement message tailoring studies that encourage cancer prevention and detection behaviors and assist with emotional intelligence studies. The Research Assistant will oversee research staff, conduct interviews, and manage data collection. An undergraduate degree in psychology or related field is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software (SPSS or SAS) also required. Previous experience conducting research preferred.
