POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

Brown University is seeking a qualified postdoctoral research associate to participate in an exciting project in developmental psychology. The postdoctoral research assistant will apply dynamic systems theory to the study of gender emergence in infants and toddlers. The project involves the analysis and write-up of weekly videotaped interactions of infants from ages of 4 to 14 months. The candidate qualifications should include:

--PhD in Developmental Psychology
--Previous experience working with infants and toddlers
--Excellent organizational and writing skills

This joint appointment in the Center for the Study of Human Development, the Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women, and Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology and Biochemistry will be under the direction of Anne Fausto-Sterling, Professor of Biology and Women’s Studies and Chair Faculty Committee on Science Studies with the support of funding from the Ford Foundation.
