| Social-Personality-Developmental | | | | | | | Description: The Department of Psychology at California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB), seeks to fill one tenure‑track position for its baccalaureate degree program at the University’s off-campus center in Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA). The position is at the assistant professor level starting fall 2006. Candidates are expected to offer a broad curriculum in the social-personality-developmental area (teaching courses in two domains: social, abnormal, personality, or developmental). The Department of Psychology is one of the largest academic programs in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, with 16 tenured/tenure-track faculty, over 600 undergraduate majors and 15 graduate students in a growing MA program. Through the CSUB main campus, the Department offers a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Psychology; the Department also co-sponsors a two-year Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. Since fall 1999, the Department has sponsored a baccalaureate degree program at the University’s off‑campus center in Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA), which has about 120 students enrolled, one tenure-track faculty member, and is experiencing rapid growth.
