The Department of Psychology, University of Cincinnati invites applications for two tenure track faculty positions (pending final budgetary approval). We expect to hire at the level of Assistant Professor (rank may be negotiable). In each of these positions, we are seeking colleagues with established or especially promising records of excellence in scholarship and teaching, including funded research, to join our collegial department. We anticipate hiring a Clinical Psychologist, with strong clinical interests, for at least one of these positions.

Position 1. Health Psychology. Specific area within Health Psychology is open, although preference will be given to a researcher interested in collaborative research with the University of Cincinnati Medical Center or Children's Hospital Medical Center. Post-doctoral training in Health Psychology is especially desirable. Ability to teach one or more of the following courses would be helpful: pediatric psychology, health psychology, emotion and motivation, cognitive behavioral therapy, or statistics.

Position 2. Child/Adolescent Psychology. Preference will be given to an individual with a strong background in Child or Adolescent Psychology who can contribute to one of our three research foci (Health, Neuropsychology, or Human Factors). We seek someone with the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in developmental psychology, child psychopathology, child neuropsychology, or pediatric psychology.

Our department enjoys well-developed relationships with the UC College of Medicine, Wright-Patterson Air Force base, Children's Hospital Medical Center, and other local and regional hospitals, institutions, schools, and universities. These associations provide access to a wide variety of patient and research participant populations as well as collaborative research opportunities.
