Candidates must be research-oriented with a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Responsibilities include teaching general psychology and various upper-level courses (including social psychology and research methods) and maintaining an active research program that can benefit from the involvement of advanced undergraduates as assistants. The teaching load is 6 courses distributed over three quarters. Ph.D. and teaching experience required. OSU-Mansfield is a regional campus of the Ohio State University. It offers a broad range of lower division courses and complete baccalaureate programs in several majors, including psychology. Regional campus faculty members hold rank in the university’s psychology department and have access to all university resources. The campus is nestled in a pleasant, wooded setting and has approximately 1600 students, most of them commuters. Mansfield is located a little more than one hour from both Columbus and Cleveland.
