| Lectureship in Social Psychology | | | | | | | Lectureship in Social Psychology Department of Psychology Faculty of Science Vacancy Number A696-04 The Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track Lectureship in Social Psychology. Applicants should have a PhD in Psychology and the qualifications necessary to teach in core areas of Social Psychology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They should also have a proven record of research and be able to supervise post graduate students. The Department is one of the largest in New Zealand, with 850 equivalent full-time students, 34 permanent academic staff, and 12 administrative and technical support staff. It offers Bachelor, Honours, Masters and PhD degrees in Psychology and specialised postgraduate qualifications in clinical, health and applied psychology. The Department has strengths in teaching and research in social psychology, community psychology, developmental psychology, evolutionary psychology, experimental analysis of behaviour, cognitive neuroscience, applied cognition, psychophysics, industrial/work/organisational psychology and speech science. The successful applicant will be asked to commence duties as soon as possible, or by 1 July 2005.
