The position involves teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in psychology with strong graduate training in quantitative methods. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both lecture and laboratory courses in quantitative methods and social psychology and to seek extramural funding to establish an independent research program. The Davie campus is one of several campuses on which psychology faculty are housed, and interaction and collaboration among faculty at different campuses is available and encouraged. Current faculty research interests include evolutionary psychology, interpersonal relationships, sex differences, domestic violence, social cognition, self-concept, and dynamical models of social processes. Excellent observational laboratory space is available.
