The Department of Psychology of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a full-time, temporary faculty position at the rank of instructor or assistant professor for a full-year sabbatical replacement. The position will begin August 21, 2005 and end May 26, 2006. The salary is competitive and commensurate with educational and professional experience. Responsibilities include teaching Introductory Psychology, Social Psychology, and Research Methods or Statistics. A Ph.D. in psychology and previous college teaching experience are required; however, candidates with ABD will also be considered. An active research program involving undergraduates is highly desired. Dedicated to individual attention and effective teaching, we encourage applications from candidates who effectively integrate diversity issues and an international perspective into their teaching.
