The Department of Experimental Psychology invites applications for a tenured faculty appointment at Lecturer level (equivalent to Assistant Professor in the USA) in Social Psychology. The area of specialisation within social psychology is open. The successful candidate will be a scholar with a strong research programme and a commitment to excellent teaching who will intersect with, and add to, our current strengths in social cognition (http://socialcog.psy.bris.ac.uk). The Department of Experimental Psychology is a highly research active department and achieved the highest possible rating (5*A) in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise.
Interviews will be held in March, and we expect that the new appointment will join the Department in August 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter.
