Purchase College, State University of New York, is seeking to fill a one-year or tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor beginning in the Fall 2004 semester. We are seeking either: 1) a social psychologist with a sub-specialization in Health Psychology or Psychology and the Law or 2) a neuropsychologist with a sub-specialization in cognitive, developmental, or clinical psychology.
Purchase College, SUNY is an undergraduate institution in Westchester County, 30 miles north of New York City. The psychology program offers a rigorous undergraduate curriculum that is designed to prepare students for graduate work. A commitment to and demonstrated competence in teaching are essential. Candidates are expected to supervise undergraduates in senior research projects and to maintain an active research program. Ph.D. required by August 2004.
