Two Lectureships/Senior Lectureships in Psychology
Applications are invited from scholars with either outstanding research promise or significant research achievement for two Lectureships or Senior Lectureships in Psychology. The posts will be available from 1 September 2004. Applications will be considered in any area of psychology, although we particularly wish to enhance our current research groups (language, cognition, and perception; neuroscience and development; social psychology). Applications for a Lectureship should show considerable promise or achievement in research in focal areas of psychology. Applications for a Senior Lectureship should demonstrate considerable achievement in research, as indicated by appropriate journal publications, a history of achieving research grants, and PhD supervision. The appointments are a reflection of the University of Dundee’s commitment to investment in the Department of Psychology, and will support our drive for international excellence in research and teaching. The University and the Department of Psychology provide a supportive environment for top-class research, and will provide the successful candidates with all appropriate facilities.
