INDUSTRIAL/ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR. THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY, ST. CLOUD STATE UNIVERSITY invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning Fall 2004. SCSU is located approximately 60 miles northwest of Minneapolis, in a rapidly growing business and residential community. Position Requirements: Contribute to an expanding industrial/organizational master’s program. Teach courses in the graduate I/O program and undergraduate psychology major. Potential courses will include introductory psychology, research methods, statistics, and courses in candidate’s areas of expertise/interest (reassigned time possible for scholarly and program-related activities). Facilitate student growth and placement. Advise undergraduate and graduate students. Engage in scholarly activities. Serve on department and University committees. A Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology by the time of appointment is required. Candidates should also demonstrate ability to teach effectively and to work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds. Desirable Qualifications: leadership skills; willingness to supervise student research, experience with instructional technology; OD/OE/Training experience and business community outreach.
