The School of Psychology has an outstanding international reputation in research and teaching. Its strengths are located broadly in the areas of applied cognitive psychology, clinical/health psychology, life span developmental psychology, social psychology, and psychophysiology/neuroscience. The School of Psychology is located in the Faculty of Social Sciences and has strong interdisciplinary links within and outside the university. Applications are invited for appointment to a Level B/C position in Psychology. The position is available immediately on a continuing basis. We are looking for someone in child or adolescent developmental psychology or social psychology. An appointment at Senior Lecturer (Level C) will only be considered for applicants with outstanding research track records that would immediately make them strong candidates for competitive research grant funds. We certainly also encourage applications from promising Lecturer level candidates. An important consideration will be how candidates complement the current areas of interest and expertise within the School.
