The University of Michigan-Flint Psychology Department invites applications for a tenure-track position in Social Psychology to begin Fall 2004. Research specialization is open. Ph.D. required. Desirable qualifications include undergraduate teaching effectiveness, a coherent research program, that has or will lead to refereed publication, course development as appropriate, and the interest in and ability to supervise undergraduate research assistants. The successful candidate must be able to teach social psychology and other courses which may include theories of personality, statistics, research methods, and introductory psychology. The teaching load is 18 credit hours per year, plus some supervision of student projects. The Department of Psychology has excellent research space, and encourages faculty to obtain both internal and external funding to support research.
