Excellent teaching skills and a commitment to undergraduate instruction are a prerequisite. Applicants should have expertise in quantitative methods and a strong research program. The successful candidate will be expected: (1) to teach courses in the psychology department's undergraduate core curriculum such as Introductory Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods, Experimental Psychology, and Social Psychology, and to contribute to the university's Liberal Studies curriculum; (2) to contribute to graduate teaching and thesis supervision in social psychology, statistics and methods; and (3) to make distinctive contributions to the scientific literature in social psychology. A Ph.D. in social psychology or related field is required. DePaul faculty value diversity and serve a diverse student body. Academic year, competitive salary.
