Someone in social psychology with an expertise in quantitative would be welcome. Here is the ad: TENURE TRACK, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR. The DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY at the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA is seeking to fill one faculty position with a candidate who has expertise in statistics and quantitative methods as well as a substantive area of research that overlaps with current research strengths in the Department (e.g., neuroscience/cognitive neuroscience, prevention science/child-family, clinical-community, school psychology). The new faculty member will be expected to continue an active program of research, contribute to competition for extramural funding, and teach or otherwise lend expertise in quantitative methods (e.g., required graduate statistics sequence, and multivariate, longitudinal analyses, and multilevel modeling). Materials should be received by October 14, 2003, however review will continue until position is filled.
