SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY – UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA: The Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in social psychology to begin August 2004, contingent on final funding approval. We seek an individual doing excellent research in any area of social psychology. All applicants must have a Ph.D. in Psychology and are expected to have an active research program, with the potential to obtain external funding and be highly productive scholars and effective teachers within our undergraduate and graduate programs. Those prepared to teach introductory psychology are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates must submit a letter of application, concise statements of research and teaching interests, a curriculum vita, at least three letters of recommendation, and selected reprints and preprints to: Jeff Stone, Chair, Social Psychology Search Committee, Department of Psychology, University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ 85721-0068. To ensure consideration applications must be received by October 15, 2003, but applications will be reviewed until the positions are filled.
