The Department of Psychology at the University of California, Davis, invites applications for two tenure-track positions in social-personality psychology to begin in July 2004. One position is at the assistant professor level; the other is open. Areas of research are open, although we are especially interested in candidates whose work focuses on basic social processes and complements other emphases within the program (e.g., close relationships, cross-cultural and ethnic psychology, emotion, personality development, social/affective neuroscience, stereotyping and prejudice). Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in social-personality psychology, supervise dissertation research, and obtain extramural funding. Interested applicants should submit a curriculum vita, statement of research and teaching interests, representative reprints and/or preprints, and at least three letters of recommendation. Review of applications will commence on November 1, 2003, and continue until the position is filled.
