GOLDSMITHS COLLEGE (UNIVERSITY OF LONDON);

DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY.

1. Lecturer in Psychology (Ref: 03/45AE).

We are seeking to appoint a lecturer in developmental or social psychology who can initiate and collaborate in high-quality research, and contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will be an active researcher and have a track record of publication in developmental or social psychology. You will join the department's research group in development and social processes, which has notable research strengths in social development including bullying, social influence, and autism.

2. Lecturer in Psychology (Ref: 03/54AE)

Fixed-term post from 1 October 2003 until 30 September 2005.

You will contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The appointment is open to any area of specialisation in psychology. The ability to teach in research methods or neuropsychology and the potential to initiate and collaborate in high-quality research would be an advantage. Goldsmiths College is research-led. The Psychology Department has a growing reputation for research excellence in cognition, brain and behaviour, development and social processes, and occupational psychology and psychometrics. The department houses the Unit of School and Family Studies and is the lead department in a new interdisciplinary Centre for Cognition, Computation and Culture.

Salary is on either the Lecturer A scale: 24,325 to 27,585 pounds sterling or (post 1 only) Lecturer B scale: 28,404 - 35,813 pounds sterling per annum inclusive of 2,134 pounds per annum London Weighting Allowance.
