The department was given a 5*A rating in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (highest rating). We are seeking to appoint individuals able to demonstrate excellence or potential for excellence in research and teaching in areas complementing existing strengths in the Department. In particular we are interested in recruiting in the areas of Social Cognition, development, memory, and psychological statistics. At least two positions will be available at lecturer (assistant professor) level. For candidates with suitably strong track records there is the opportunity to appoint at the level of Senior Lecturer or Reader (up to two posts, equivalent of associate professor).
