| Assistant Professor of Psychology | | | | | | | The Department of Psychology at the University of Chicago is continuing to build a new Social Psychology program. The Department invites applications for an Assistant Professor position who is interested in working collaboratively as we develop such a program at the University of Chicago. We encourage all potentially interested applicants to apply. The new program will benefit from synergies with members of the Department of Psychology, researchers at the Center for Decision Research at the Booth School of Business, as well as the Committee on Education. The Department of Psychology and the Division of Social Sciences are committed to the creation and the support of such a program. Applications must include 1) a cover letter with contact information for at least three references; 2) a current curriculum vitae; 3) a research statement; 4) a teaching statement and 5) three representative publications. Ph.D. must be in hand by start of appointment. Review of applications will begin on October 23, 2023 and will continue until the position is filled or the search is closed. Appointment may begin as early as July 1, 2024.
