Ball State University welcomes application for a Full-time tenure-line position to begin the 2024-25 academic year; area of specialization is social psychology.

Position Function:
A. Teaching: Instruct students in the social psychology master’s program as well as other master’s and doctoral programs and the departmental undergraduate minor. Supervise doctoral students teaching in the undergraduate minor.
B. Research: Conduct and publish quality research in areas of specialty. Supervise/mentor students in quality research.
C. Service: Serve on department, college and university committees. Serve on graduate student doctoral and Master’s thesis committees. Actively contribute to the intellectual and professional life of the Department, College of Health, Ball State University and the discipline

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate in social psychology or experimental psychology with an emphasis in social psychology by August, 2024; ABD candidates will be considered only if all degree requirements will be completed by August 2024.

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate in social psychology. Track record of peer-reviewed publications and presentations at professional conferences in applicant’s area of specialization. Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Demonstrated interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
