UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA, ASSOCIATE/POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITION: We have openings for a social or health psychologist with an interest in conducting research on basic processes related to attitudes, persuasion, and motivation, as well as applications to health promotion and science communication. The work involves laboratory and field methods, as well as meta-analysis and analysis of social media information. Exceptional quantitative and writing skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team. The funding is expected to lead to multiple publications a year in areas relevant to the research conducted in the Social Action Lab (http://socialactionlab.wix.com/albarracin). The researchers are also expected to contribute to the writing of applications for Federal funding. Positions may be renewed contingent on funding and satisfactory performance. Applications are being accepted immediately and will be reviewed until the position is filled, at which point the ad will be removed.
