| Assistant Professor of Social Psychology | | | | | | | The Department of Psychology at Rowan University invites applications for tenure-track faculty at the Assistant Professor level in Social Psychology to begin Fall 2023. Outstanding candidates may be considered at the Associate or Full Professor levels. This search is part of a broader, multi-year faculty hiring initiative across the College of Science & Mathematics. A Ph.D. or equivalent in social psychology or related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a track record and/or potential to establish and sustain a strong, applied research program focusing on health-related issues, health disparities, and/or diversity-related issues. Candidates with interdisciplinary research and a history of collaboration are strongly encouraged to apply. Faculty hired into this position are expected to develop and maintain an active, highly visible, extramurally funded research program inclusive of undergraduate and graduate students and with outstanding scholarship, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to the various service endeavors in the Department, College, and University. Opportunities for collaboration exist within the Department, the College of Science & Mathematics, as well as with Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, Virtua Health School of Nursing & Health Professions, and other colleges at the university. The Department of Psychology houses a Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology with a focus in Health Psychology and Integrated Healthcare. Additionally, the department offers a B.A. in Psychology, B.S. in Psychological Science, Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and School Psychology. We also house a Concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Minor in Neuroscience with Biological Sciences. Complete applications will include: 1. Cover letter 2. Current detailed CV 3.
